In 1995, the Kwara State Government took the decision to establish Kwara State Investment and Property Development Corporation to form her own Investment/Property organization as a State owned Development Finance Institution. In view of this, Edict 11 of 1996 was promulgated to establish Kwara State Investment and Property Development Corporation which was later incorporated into a Limited Liability Company with Registration No. RC 355148. With restructuring undertaken by Harmony Holdings Ltd, the company's name changed to HHL Investment & Property Development Company Ltd (HIPDC) in 2014.
The name change was done to give the Company a universal appeal and allow it carry out businesses in its niche market especially beyond Kwara State.
HIPDC is the developer of the popular Mandate 3 Estate, Adewole Estate, within Kwara State, while properties such as Wuye and Galadimawa Estates have been developde in Abuja.
HIPDC is a catalyst for industrial and property development initiation, planning, development, implementation and realization.
The services provided by HIPDC include but are not limited to:
- Property Developement within and outside Kwara State;
- Appraisal, acquisition, development and management of landed properties within and outside Kwara State ;
- Property Valuation for all purposes
- Sites and Services scheme;
- Construction, sales, letting or leasing of buildings within the State
Having being re-structured by Harmony Holdings Ltd for optimal performance, the company offers new opportunities for collaboration in commercial real estate development among others.
